Terri Warren, Executive
Director |
|
|
Terri has been with
TrinityCare Hospice for over seven years in many roles
including Director of the AIDS Case Management Program, Staff
Development Coordinator, and most recently as Vice President
of Operations. Due to Terri's unique set of skills, she
brings a long term vision and commitment to TrinityCare
Hospice. Receiving a Masters in Social Work from Boston
College and a Bachelors Degree from College of the Holy Cross,
Terri is committed to a vision in providing comfort care for
all tiers of society.

Hangebrauk, Operations Director |

Debbie has over 20 years of direct
management and operational experience in health care.
She has held a wide range of positions at various facilities
including Administrative Director of Laboratory + Pharmacy,
Compliance Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. She
has a Bachelors of Science Degree from California State
University of Long Beach and a Masters Degree in Business
Administration from Loyola Marymount University. Debbie
is committed to the core values and vision in providing
quality care with compassion, respect and
excellence.

Joan Pimentel, Director,
Clinical Services |

Joan is an RN with more than 23 years experience in oncology and hospice care. She has held various positions as a nurse in Oncology, Cancer Research, Community and Professional Education, Home Health and Hospice. For the past 20 years, Joan has been involved both locally and regionally as an advocate for patients and families needing terminal care and support at the end of life. Presently, Joan is the Director of Clinical Services for TrinityCare Hospice and oversees all the clinical care services provided by the agency. She works closely with the hospice senior management team to ensure quality hospice services.

Judy Regotti, Director,

Judy is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse who has worked specifically in hospice for over 25 years. She has extensive experience at the bedside of dying patients as well as in managing teams of hospice workers. At the Visiting Nurse Association of Los Angeles, where Judy worked for many years, she held the role of Director of Clinical Services for that agency’s Yvette Luque Hospice Program. She was the Administrator/Director of SunAlliance Hospice just prior to coming to TrinityCare Hospice in 1999. Judy is a nursing graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Nurse Association, and the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association. She also sits as a hospice representative on the Board of Directors of the Southern California Cancer Pain Initiative. Presently, Judy directs the Quality Management Department that partners with the Leadership Team of the organization to ensure excellence in care for all patients and families served by TrinityCare Hospice.

Jane Weber, Director, Provider Relations |

Jane Weber has 25 years of experience and leadership in hospice and palliative care as both a clinical social worker and administrator. Her responsibilities at TrinityCare include developing and supervising systems to ensure hospice access, promotion, customer service, growth and managed care contracting. Prior to joining TrinityCare, Jane was Executive Director of Jacob Perlow Hospice at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. She has been active in national, state and local hospice organizations. She has a Masters Degree in Social Science Administration (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and is a graduate of the Certified Management Program of the Roy E. Crummer School of Business in Orlando, Florida.

Fran Zonfrillo, Director of Education |

Fran is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and is trained in End-of-Life Care. She directs the Education Program for TrinityCare Hospice. Fran is also currently on faculty at Mount Saint Mary's College, teaching senior BSN nursing students. Fran has been active and involved with hospice care at the state and regional levels, and implemented a seven-office area-wide hospice program for the Visiting Nurse Association of Los Angeles.

Rev. Arthur Barlett
|
|
|
The Rev. Bartlett has served the community of San Pedro for more than 50 years. In 1973, Rev. Barlett founded Beacon House in San Pedro, a recovery house for male alcoholics, and sat on the Board of Directors for House of Hope, a recovery house for female alcoholics. He attended California State University, Long Beach and did post graduate work with the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley.

John J. Cameron

|
John is the managing partner in the accounting firm of Brigante, Cameron, Watters & Strong, LLP. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from USC. John has worked in public accounting since 1973. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Palos Verdes Peninsula and a former board member of the Palos Verdes Chamber of Commerce. He is also a past president and former board member of the Community Association of the Peninsula.

David Campisi, MD

Recognizing the need for excellence in pain management at the end-of-life, Dr. Campisi became the founding Medical Director for TrinityCare Hospice in 1984 and was the sole hospice physician for the entire program for many years. He graduated from UCLA School of Medicine focusing on Internal Medicine and Intensive Care, where he has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine since 1980. He also received the SCCPI (Southern California Cancer Pain Initiative) 2006 award of excellence.

Gertrude "Trudi" S. Carter,

Gertrude "Trudi" Carter, M.D. presently works as an independent consultant specializing in physician relations, medical staff affairs and care management. She received her undergraduate degree from Howard University, Washington D.C. and medical degree from Johns Hopkins Medical School, Baltimore, Maryland. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and completed three years of training at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital, later earning her Graduate Certificate in Medical Management from USC. Prior to going into consulting, she served as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer of Catholic Healthcare West in Southern California. Throughout her career, her main focus has been to be a voice for her patients, and this continues to be her goal at TrinityCare.

Bunni Dybnis

Ms. Dybnis is the Director of Professional Services at LivHOME, Inc, providing professional training and development within this comprehensive elder care service company. With over 25 years as a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist and Certified Care Manager Bunni is a nationally recognized speaker and educator on issues of aging. In addition to the Trinity Board she holds leadership positions on numerous boards, committees and tasks forces on both the national and local level. These include the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, OPICA Adult Day Care, Parkinson’s Association, Alzheimer’s and MS task forces, Center for Healthy Aging, and American Society of Aging.

Will Gassett, Treasurer

|
Will has served on the Board of several national and local organizations. He has served as a Senior Vice President and Partner of FocusVision Network since its national introduction in 1991. Prior to joining FocusVision, Will had taken early retirement after more than 20 years with Star-Kist Foods. In his position of Vice-President of Marketing he was a member of Star-Kist's Management Board and was responsible for all advertising, sales promotion, public relations, marketing research and consumer affairs for the company's U.S. and Canadian seafood and pet food businesses. Will received his BA degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and MBA from USC and served in the U.S. Navy as an Operations Officer on a destroyer in the Pacific.

Suzi Gulcher, Chair

Suzi has contributed and participated on the board of many local organizations including the Board of Directors of Little Company of Mary Service Area, and HELP (Healthcare and Elder Law Programs). She has actively served on the Palliative Care Task Force, as a Co-chair with Claire Tehan; served as president of the Assistance League of San Pedro-Palos Verdes and was elected to two terms on the local Board of Education. Suzi also worked in Systems Analysis-Advanced Design for North American Aviation/ Rockwell International.

Gary S. Kuwahara, Secretary

Gary S. Kuwahara is a practicing CPA in Torrance. He served on the TrinityCare Hospice Foundation Board of Directors from 1993 to 2000. He is also a member of the Hospice Finance Committee. In 1993, Gary was elected to serve on the Torrance Unified School District's Board of Education. He was reelected in 1999 and again in 2001.

Marcia Potter

Ms. Potter is the Chief Patient Care Executive for Behavioral Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She received her Master's Degree in Business Policy from the State University of New York, Empire State College, her Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University, and her Associate Degree in Nursing from Southwestern Michigan College. Recognized as an industry leader, Ms. Potter is ex officio CEO for Syntact Solutions, a strategic organizational development firm where she is known as a key strategist in new service delivery design and implementation.

James Zapp

Jim is a Partner and the Chair of the Employment Law practice in Los Angeles for Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP. He is an experienced jury trial lawyer who has won over 90% of his trials while representing employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and other employment actions. He graduated with distinction from Stanford University (B.S. in mathematics), where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Loyola Law School where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society.

Rachelle Zukerman

Rachelle is Professor Emeritus of Social Welfare at UCLA, a gerontologist, and a clinical social worker. She is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Hong Kong and a Fulbright Scholar. She is the author of Eldercare for Dummies (Wiley 2003) and Young at Heart: A Mature Woman’s Guide to Finding and Keeping Romance and Aging Into the 21st Century. Dr. Zukerman is a popular lecturer and speaker for seminars and workshops in the United States and abroad, and is a frequent and lively guest on television and radio talk shows.
